چکیده

Combined arterial spin labeling (ASL) and functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) can reveal more comprehensive properties of the spatiotemporal quantitative brain networks. Imaging markers end-stage renal disease associated with mild cognitive impairment (ESRDaMCI) will be sought from these properties. The current multimodal classification methods often neglect to collect high-order relationships regions remove noise feature matrix. A framework is proposed address this issue using hypergraph latent relation (HLR). network structural information constructed by fMRI data. matrix obtained through graph theory (GT). cerebral blood flow (CBF) ASL selected as second modal Then, adaptive similarity learning between matrices. Latent (LRAS) introduced multi-task construct a selection method based on (LRMFS). experimental results show that best accuracy (ACC) reaches 88.67%, at least 2.84% better than state-of-the-art methods. preserves valuable reduces among matrixes. It provides an essential reference value for ESRDaMCI recognition.

Multimodal classification of Alzheimer's disease and mild cognitive impairment

Effective and accurate diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease (AD), as well as its prodromal stage (i.e., mild cognitive impairment (MCI)), has attracted more and more attention recently. So far, multiple biomarkers have been shown to be sensitive to the diagnosis of AD and MCI, i.e., structural MR imaging (MRI) for brain atrophy measurement, functional imaging (e.g., FDG-PET) for hypometabolism quan...

Bardet-Biedl Syndrome with End Stage Renal Disease

Bardet-Biedl syndrome (BBS) is one of the rare autosomal recessive disorders that affect multiple organs of the body. The signs and symptoms of this condition vary among affected individuals, even among members of the same family. We present a case of BBS with features of hypogonadism and features such as marked central obesity, retinitis pigmentosa, polydactyly, renal abnormalities and mental ...

Cognitive characteristics associated with mild cognitive impairment in Parkinson's disease.

BACKGROUND Cognitive deficits are common in Parkinson's disease (PD), but the range of deficits is variable. The aim of this study was to identify different cognitive subgroups associated with PD. METHODS A broad range of neuropsychological measures and cognitive domains were used in a cluster analysis to identify subgroups of patients. RESULTS Three subgroups of patients were identified. C...

Soluble Adiponectin is a New Predictor for Cardiovascular Complications in Patients with End Stage Renal Disease

Mortality due to cardiovascular complications (CVC) in patients with end stage renal disease (ESRD) is 20 fold higher than in general population. Adiponectin (ADPN) hormone from adipose tissues accumulation in serum is attributed to reduced renal clearance. The aim of this study was to investigate the possible role of ADPN as a predictor of CVC in adult patients with ESRD on hemodialysis (HD), ...

Cortical thinning associated with mild cognitive impairment in Parkinson's disease.

The aim of this study was to investigate patterns of cortical atrophy associated with mild cognitive impairment in a large sample of nondemented Parkinson's disease (PD) patients, and its relation with specific neuropsychological deficits. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and neuropsychological assessment were performed in a sample of 90 nondemented PD patients and 32 healthy controls. All unde...
